Arlington Heights Village Hall is located at 33 South Arlington Heights Road – Phone 847.368.5000. The Village is the twelfth largest municipality in Illinois.
As of the 2000 census, there were 76,031 people living in Arlington Heights. The village is located in both Cook and Lake counties.
Schools include Saint Viator High School, John Hersey High School, South Middle School and Thomas Middle School.
Arlington Heights lies mostly in the west side of Wheeling and is also adjacent to Elk Grove and Palatine.

Arlington Park is one of the most interesting thoroughbred horseracing facilities in the country. On July 31, 1985 a fire burned down the Grandstand. The current six story Grandstand was completed and opened for use June 28, 1989.
The Metropolis Performing Arts Centre hosts a lot of great shows and theater performaces. The facility includes a 350 seat theatre, ballroom and classrooms for music and theatre.
Peggy Kinane’s and Harry’s – are restaurant / bars located downtown that usually have live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
