Did you know that 99% of Real Estate "buyer agents" are generalists?  

When the consumer hears "buyer agent" they believe that they have an agent who is fully on their side. 

Unfortunately - that is not true.
  Agents who list property for sale (represent sellers) call themselves a buyer agent when working with a buyer.   But both they and their company also represent sellers.  Your "buyers agent" can get into situations where they are suddenly half on the sellers side (called "dual agency")   Their buyer client's information might be compromised with shared fax machines, overheard conversations, un-secure file cabinets and desk/cubicle spaces, and other issues (talking between agents / buddies) that exist in a traditional real estate office.
